christopher williams
Christopher Williams is a multifaceted filmmaker, event curator, and artist whose journey has been defined by storytelling across multiple mediums. Born in Washington, D.C., he moved to Atlanta in 2017 with a B.A. in Psychology, a background that informs his deep understanding of human nature and narrative. His creative path began in music, which led him into acting, starring in shows like TV Ones ATL Homicide and Raising Dion (Netflix, Season 2). His music has also been featured in films like Connect.
At the downturn of the pandemic, he pivoted into filmmaking and event creation, recognizing the power of visual storytelling to elevate community voices. He holds an MFA in Directing for Film & Television, with a focus on documentary work that speaks truth and challenges ideas around identity. His films, including Proud (2021), have traveled the world film festival circuit, and his latest projects, such as Sweet Auburn Saturdays and Beneath the Surface, highlight the transformative impact of storytelling.
Beyond film, he is the founder of Skinny Margaritas, a motivational book club featured in Forbes Magazine, and The Vibe Collective, a monthly R&B Open Mic Showcase designed to cultivate connection, inspiration, and radical honesty in creative expression.
With a vision informed by both conceptual depth and real-world impact, he continues to push boundaries in filmmaking, community-driven storytelling, and brand documentaries, crafting narratives that resonate, challenge, and inspire.
